The Ourthe
valley between Houffalize and la Roche - a beautiful natural
reserve.
Though
Belgium is densely populated, the South isn't. The most
southern province of Luxemburg (not to be confused with the
duchy) only had 250.00 inhabitants.
And even
these are nowhere to be seen here.... the Ourthe river valley
between Houffalize and la Roche.
Splendid
hikes along the river, without encountering any sign of human
presence....

the Ardennes... though no means flooded by tourists... in
fact, this treasure is fairly well hidden.
